A 503 Service Unavailable error means that the server is temporarily unable to handle the request due to resource overload or a temporary lack of capacity. This is not an issue with your website itself, but rather a server-side response to excessive load.
The most common causes of a 503 error include:
- exceeding the limit of simultaneous server connections (concurrent connections),
- too many HTTP requests per second (request rate),
- reaching the maximum available network bandwidth usage,
In practice, this means the server cannot handle all incoming requests at that moment, so it temporarily rejects some of them and returns a 503 status code.
