Help: SSL certificate has been purchased, how do I install it?

Below you will find instructions for generating and installing your purchased SSL certificate.

Instructions for generating and installing an SSL certificate

1. Ordering the certificate
After placing an order for an SSL certificate (HERE you can find the SSL ordering instructions), you will receive an email from us with information about the next steps. You have 14 days to complete the verification process – after this time the order will be canceled.

2. Domain ownership verification
The Certificate Authority (CA) must confirm that the domain belongs to you. During the order, you can choose how this will be done:

Option A – Validation via email

  • A verification email with a link will be sent to the email address assigned to the domain (e.g., admin@domain.com).

  • Click the link and confirm domain ownership.

  • If you do not have the indicated mailbox:

    • create it in your hosting panel (e.g., in cPanel → Email → Email Accounts),

    • then contact us so we can resend the verification email.

Option B – Validation via DNS

  • In your domain’s DNS panel, add the record provided in the email. If you are using our hosting, you can add the record in cPanel → Domains → Zone Editor. HERE we show you how to enter records. To add a new record, you will need the following information (all provided in our email):

    • Record type (e.g., TXT/CNAME)

    • Record name

    • Record value

  • After adding the record, wait for DNS propagation (usually a few minutes to a few hours).

3. Installing the SSL certificate

After successful domain verification, the certificate will be issued. You will receive an email with instructions that you can now install it.

Installation in the Customer Panel (if your hosting is with us):

  • Log in to the Customer Panel.

  • Go to My Services → select your SSL certificate.

  • Click the INSTALL button – the certificate will be automatically uploaded to the server.

Installation on another server
If the domain points to a different server than ours, download the certificate files and install them yourself or pass them on to your hosting administrator.

4. Forcing HTTPS on your website
To make the certificate work correctly and display the green padlock in the browser:

  • Enable HTTPS support in your CMS/website script settings OR

  • Redirect all traffic to HTTPS – for example, via the .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]

Make sure that all elements (images, scripts, styles) are loaded from https:// addresses.
